Privately Owned and Personally Maintained

The house is privately managed - you will deal directly with me when you stay. It is furnished in an art-house beach-house style with an eclectic mix of quality furnishings and original artworks. If you are looking for a winter break the house has a wonderful open sandstone surrounded fireplace which we are upgrading with a huge built-in wood burning heater in May 2008. We have electric heaters in all the rooms and a gas heater on the deck (gas bottle to be filled by guests), and there are comfy doonas, lots of spare blankets and throws on the lounges that you can wrap around yourself as you enjoy a glass of wine on the deck gazing up at the stars.

The house is supplied with magazines, books and games to enjoy on those rainy or chilly days when you would just rather stay in and curl up in front of the fire. The grounds are planted with mature citrus trees, cumquats, olives and fragrant herbs, and are regularly mowed and tended. There is even a well...!

A spectacular stay in a fabulous beach house. My best night's sleep in many years. Beautiful surrounds, amazing kitchen, terrific decor. We'll be back for our yearly get-togethers in the future. Thank you so much!

We enjoyed our stay greatly. Lovely setting, good facilities in the house. My only reservation in recommending it publicly is that others might choose to book it ahead of us!

What an awesome, quirky house. Wonderfully comfortable beds, a huge fun kitchen, plenty of funky furniture and a stunning fireplace where us girls sat around and had some profound alcohol infused chats! Some great walks through the national parks and along Greenfields beach were we saw several pods of dolphins chasing fish. Some cheeky possums hanging around the deck at night hoping for some slices of apple. In one word... MAGNIFICENT!!!!
    Can't wait for next winter!

Pamela's beach house is a perfect holiday house for a family and group holiday. It can easily accommodate upto 13 people. The house is at a very nice setting. The very beautiful "Greenfield Beach" is at the backyard. Kids can play at the deck or at the backyard, adults can induldge is cooking in a big open kitchen.

The walking trails along the Jervis Bay national park trails is just at the corner - perfect for the morning walk. We would certainly like to stay there when we visit next time.

And above all, the owner is very cooperative and gives precise information for the first time visitors.

We had the pleasure of staying at Pamela’s Beach House with eight friends recently.

Immediately upon entering the house (with its huge kitchen, cosy living room and wrap around deck), we all felt relaxed and at home. There was plenty of room for our party of ten and the house is well equipped for large groups. It is rustic and charming and the owners had left us chocolates, wine and gorgeous aromatherapy soap. The beds were comfy and it felt like we were staying in someone’s home rather than a rental property.

The icing in the cake is that it is nestled right on the edge of Jervis Bay National Park and a three minute stroll to one of the most beautiful beaches in NSW. The sand (which is partly shaded by gum trees) is so white and the water is clear, gentle and clean. During the week we were usually the only people there. It was paradise!

Much time was spent on the private balcony enjoying wine, BBQ’s, games and a good book. We were visited by very friendly possums and kookaburras which could be hand fed, and surrounded by rainbow lorikeets and crimson rosellas.

In addition, there are really tranquil, lovely walks from the house. It was a thirty minute walk through scenic national park to Hyams Beach (and Cafe!) and a thirty minute walk north to Plantation Point. On this walk you pass spectacular scenery and get a wonderful view back over Greenfield’s Beach. We also spotted black cockatoos, bower birds and plenty of lizards and butterflies. There are some great fishing and snorkeling spots along this walk too.

Everyone had such a great holiday and the house was perfect for lazy relaxation time away from the city, or if you want to get active there is plenty to see and do as well.

We really didn’t want to leave and decided that the house will be perfect to come back to in the winter for the crackling open fire and a huge roast dinner!

You will want to go back and you won't want to leave.
The beach is possibly one of the best on the planet. The house is made for entertaining and relaxing, 10 people can all have their privacy.
